We are seeking a skilled Procurement Liaison to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing supplier programs, as well as maintaining strong relationships with hoteliers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supplier Program Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of supplier programs that meet the needs of our clients.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with hoteliers and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Documentation and Data Management: Support the management of RFPs, including documentation and data collection.
- Internal Query Resolution: Respond to internal queries and issue escalations related to suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
- Transportation Rates and Queries: Collaborate with colleagues to negotiate car and ground transport rates and resolve any related queries.
- Hotel Information Management: Collect and store hotel information in database systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Supplier Reporting: Assist in the collation of supplier reports to provide valuable insights into our procurement activities.
- Office Visits and Events: Coordinate supplier office visits and events to foster strong relationships and promote our brand.
- Industry Event Attendance: Attend industry events to enhance our company profile and stay informed about industry trends.Requirements:
- Qualifications: A certificate or diploma in travel, tourism, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a procurement or negotiation-focused role is required.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of supplier contracts and pricing, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and excellent customer service and time management skills are essential.
