Senior Occupational Therapist Role

  • A highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist is required to provide clinical leadership within the occupational therapy service, optimising care delivery and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
">Key Responsibilities:">
  • To lead and manage a team of occupational therapists, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure excellent patient care.
  • To develop and implement evidence-based practice standards, promoting innovation and excellence in occupational therapy services.
  • To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve seamless patient care and successful treatment outcomes.
  • To assess patient needs, develop and implement individualised treatment plans, and evaluate patient progress.
">Requirements:">
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical teaching, supervision, and mentoring.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology, including electronic medical records and digital communication platforms.
