Job Title: Senior Technical Operations Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Operations Officer to join our team at Coliban Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our water reclamation plants and providing technical expertise to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and guidance to support the operation of our water reclamation plants
  • Manage and maintain the quality of treated water and wastewater to meet regulatory standards
  • Facilitate integration between upgrade works and existing plant operations
  • Manage reuse operations and farming operations at Bendigo WRP
  • Participate in an on-call roster to provide support outside of regular working hours

Requirements:

  • Experience working in water or wastewater treatment, or transferable skills in networks, operations, or management
  • Tertiary degree in engineering, science, or a related discipline (desirable)
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines
