Job Overview

This key role is responsible for driving procurement strategies across the organization, fostering strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

  • Develop end-to-end procurement processes: sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, supplier management.
  • Create RFX documentation and risk strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with procurement governance and act as Probity Officer.
  • Liaise with legal services for procurement matters.
  • Provide advice on sourcing and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Plan and deliver procurement initiatives on time.
  • Evaluate purchases against policy, cost, safety, and legislative standards.
  • Foster continuous improvement and strategic transformation of procurement.
  • Nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement roles.
  • Degree in Supply, Procurement, Business, Commerce, or similar field.
  • Formal procurement qualifications (e.g., CIPS).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with modern procurement systems.
  • Highly regarded project management experience.
  • Expertise in IT category procurement.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, data governance, and IT architecture.
