Project Description

Luxoft is seeking an experienced and skilled Murex Accounting and Datamart professional to join our core project team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a global banking and capital market client on various development projects.

You will be part of a high-caliber project team comprising of analysts with deep domain experience. This role offers the benefit of working with an established client team, fully involved in the project implementation.

Responsibilities

As a Murex Accounting and Datamart specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading the Murex Accounting stream
  2. Contributing to Datamart delivery as a subject matter expert
  3. Participating in various changes and projects for the stream
  4. Engaging with users to gather, capture, and document accounting treatment for various financial products
  5. Analyzing requirements and assessing feasibility of implementation in Murex
  6. Designing and configuring accounting rules based on requirements, including configuration of accounts, filters, and formulas
  7. Developing relevant Datamart feeders, extractions, and EOD jobs
  8. Reconciling expected results and actual results
  9. Identifying discrepancies and possible causes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. 4+ years of Murex Accounting experience, including hands-on rules configuration, ideally setting up new trade types
  2. 6+ years of Murex Datamart development experience
  3. Experience in setting up accounting rules, accounts, filters, and formulas
  4. Experience in accounting configuration in Murex
  5. Experience in using basic tools, such as Excel, to perform reconciliation
  6. Knowledge of trade life cycle & events and how they are handled in Murex for IRD, FI, and Credit, especially experience in Rates
Preferred Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  1. Hedge Accounting Module of Murex
  2. Functional solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership
  3. DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.)
Language and Seniority

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English (C1 Advanced) and senior-level experience in Murex Accounting and Datamart.
