As a Logistics Operations Supervisor at CHEP Australia, you'll be part of an international organization big enough to take you anywhere and small enough to make sure you get there sooner. You'll lead a production team at one of our sites in Altona, providing direction and support to ensure productivity targets are met and leading innovation and change across the afternoon shift (2pm - 10pm).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive, productive and safe working environment
  • Ensure continuous improvement in safety and quality
  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching and support to the team
  • Drive team performance, provide recognition or create improvement plans as required
  • Ensure productivity targets are met via appropriate resourcing and planning
About You:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in an automated and fast-paced industrial production or operations environment
  • The leadership capability to drive and motivate a diverse multi-cultural workforce
  • Solid experience in performance management and conflict resolution
  • A commitment to safety, continuous improvement, innovation and change
  • Some exposure to production and maintenance planning, embracing the use of technology
  • Strong communication and team building skills
  • Experience in a unionised environment preferred
