Our client requires a temporary GIS Officer to join their team in Perth CBD. This is an initial 3-month contract with a possible extension.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide professional GIS support for mapping tasks in environmental planning and infrastructure projects.

  • Providing GIS support for design, production, revision, and liaison of mapping tasks
  • Undertaking digital mapping activities and information processing tasks using data analysis and cartographic techniques
  • Providing technical advice to staff on mapping queries and requirements
  • Acquiring, capturing, and maintaining geographic information within a GIS environment
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with ESRI ArcGIS (preferably ArcGIS Pro) in data analysis and map creation
  • Experience using ETL software FME
