**Job Opportunity: GIS Analyst**

  • Develop and support the portfolio of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)
  • Analyse metrics of the GIS systems portfolio delivery processes
  • Identify opportunities to drive continual improvement of processes and systems
  • Undertake activities to support end-to-end lifecycle management of enhancement requests from stakeholders
  • Engage and educate users to understand the depth of services available and innovation possibilities of current and emerging technologies
  • Foster, advocate, and implement the City's Customer Service Charter

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in GIS analysis and development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in GIS software and programming languages (e.g. ArcGIS, Python, SQL)
