Water Resilience Specialist Role

The importance of water to the health of our planet cannot be overstated.

As climate change drives more frequent and intense floods, droughts, and storms, it's essential for water professionals to lead in building resilience and implementing innovative solutions.

You'll join a dynamic team of water experts dedicated to creating positive impact for communities.

Based in Western Australia, where we've partnered with the water sector for 90 years, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference.

  • Conduct engineering studies in hydrology, waterways, and drainage systems.
  • Develop creative technical solutions for complex bridge, culvert, floodway, waterway, wetland, and stormwater network designs.
  • Maintain expertise in surface water modeling tools like RORB, TUFLOW, DRAINS, and HEC-RAS.
  • Apply 12D and DRAINS skills for detailed drainage and stormwater design.

To succeed in this challenging role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • 6-10+ years' experience in waterways, hydrology, or drainage engineering.
  • Proficiency in 12D, DRAINS, RORB, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, and other relevant hydraulic and hydrologic modeling tools.
