Technical Claims Assessor/Validator Role

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Claims Assessor/Validator to manage day-to-day activities for insurer clients in Australia.

This role involves building scoping, validation of charges, and assessing project viability.

You will utilize our industry-leading platform to validate builder services via our network or clients' network.

The ideal candidate has experience in Technical Property Claim Assessing, Building Trade Service, and/or Construction sector(s).

  • Triage and allocate service requests to our national specialist network.
  • Validate scope, including cost check, methodology auditing, and overall job relevance.
  • Manage relationships with builders, insurers, insurance assessors, building estimators, and stakeholders involved in building projects.
  • Meet internal validation or project management KPI's, including productivity, quality, and accuracy.
  • Communicate with clients to keep them updated on service progress.
  • Ensure quality and cost assurance reviews for all building requests.
  • Work with team manager to maintain network performance and capacity.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Property Claim and/or Construction roles.
  • Self-motivation and customer orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time and project management skills.
  • Ability to make responsible and effective decisions and communicate efficiently – both written and verbally.
  • Capability to meet targets and handle high-pressure environment.
  • Results-driven, striving to meet and exceed KPI's.
