Senior IT Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to join our dynamic team environment. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a challenging role.

Job Overview:
  • Solve complex technical issues for clients with expertise and professionalism.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their development and growth.
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk Manager to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving support tickets efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and frequently with clients, managing escalated tickets and identifying potential risks.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and mentoring junior team members to upskill and reskill.
  • Promote security awareness and adhere to security procedures within the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a Senior Systems Administrator role, with at least 4 years in Managed Services.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, with proficiency in Remote Desktop Services deployments and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting, with advanced working knowledge of hardware components and server architecture.
  • Proficiency in scripting & automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python), with familiarity with Cybersecurity best practices and threat assessment mitigation.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the ConnectWise Suite (Manage & Automate).
  • Previous experience working at a Managed Services Provider.
  • Expertise in SQL Database administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of VOIP/PBX systems.
  • Experience and certifications with Sophos.
