Foundation Support Officer

The Foundation provides critical support to a team at the Western Sydney Institute of Medical Research (WIMR). This opportunity offers variety and the chance to be involved in a growing and expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the team during meetings and events off-site

Provide administrative support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations

Contribute to community engagement and fundraising campaigns through liaison with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and suppliers

Support the implementation of a customer relationship management system by updating donor registers, mailing lists, and other essential data

Collaborate with the Communications team on digital and social media campaigns for initiatives

Work closely with the Finance team to maintain accurate documentation and input related to donations, expenses, invoices, and other financial matters

Some reasonable after-hours work may be required for events and meetings

Requirements:

A positive attitude and experience engaging with various internal and external stakeholders

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation abilities

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and PowerPoint

Essential knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Dynamics 365

Experience organizing and managing events

Understanding of confidentiality and sensitivity when handling organizational matters

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Highly organized with excellent time management skills

This is a part-time opportunity working 4 days per week or equivalent hours under flexible arrangements across the week
