Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Followmont Transport in Newcastle. As an integral part of our workshop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work towards and complete a Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology, actively participating in training programs, workshops, and educational opportunities to enhance technical skills and expand knowledge.
  • Support technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tyre rotations, and lubrication to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues while learning technical skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation, adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.
