Adult Psychiatrist Position

We are seeking a skilled Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at Cairns Hospital and Health Service.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work in a variety of community and inpatient positions in Adult Mental Health.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health clinical services
- Manage patients with complex mental health treatment needs and/or in situations of high clinical risk
- Lead and function within a multidisciplinary mental health clinical team
- Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with non-mental health medical practitioners and other service providers
- Provide clinical teaching to junior medical staff, medical students, and other mental health clinicians
Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service provides a range of community and inpatient services, staffed by multidisciplinary teams with a broad mix of skills, knowledge, and professional backgrounds.
