Role Purpose

The Virtualization Solutions Expert is a creative, accomplished, and seasoned sales professional with a demonstrated history of success in Solution Sales for a Desktop Virtualization firm or with experience in managing transitions from traditional on-premise solutions to SaaS alternatives. They possess a deep understanding of customer needs, are innovative in conceptualizing solutions, and are articulate in communicating these solutions effectively.

This role is critical in the sales process for state-of-the-art virtualization solutions that leverage the capabilities of Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. The expert will play a key role in facilitating a secure, compliant, and efficient Cloud PC experience for clients, ensuring they can provide their end users with access to a personalized Windows environment on any device. With a focus on Cloud PC management through Intune, you will optimize deployment and maintenance while staying updated on the latest virtualization technologies. Your expertise will enhance collaboration and productivity as you engage with various internal and external stakeholders to support clients in their end-user computing transitions. This position is tailored for individuals who excel in a flexible work environment, allowing you to work remotely and drive transformative outcomes for clients in the virtualization sector.

Qualifications

You will also need to possess experience in:

  • 6+ years of proven success in Solutions Sales for a Desktop Virtualization or SaaS-based organization or a similar technology sector.

This position requires verification of Australian Citizenship due to legal restrictions based on citizenship. Specifically, this role supports federal, state, and/or local Australian government agency clients and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions as required or permitted by law. To comply with this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate's citizenship will be verified with a valid passport.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment, embracing new solutions and changes with a growth mindset.
  • Drive complex sales and influence new opportunities by engaging with key decision-makers, understanding customer priorities, and articulating the value proposition of Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Implement solution sales best practices, developing strategies that differentiate and challenge clients with innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to guide clients in transforming their Desktop Strategy and enhancing the end-user experience.
  • Accelerate opportunities with creative strategies and storytelling that address client challenges, leveraging core team stakeholders and partners.
  • Lead the planning and execution of virtualization opportunities, working with internal stakeholders and partners for cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Engage in discussions with business and IT decision-makers, sharing best practices and competitive insights as a subject matter expert.
  • Deliver excellence in territory planning, competitive analysis, business forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Achieve results while embodying Microsoft values, treating others with fairness and respect.
