Job Role

We are seeking an ambitious law graduate to assist in managing files in a leading workers' compensation practice.

  • The ideal candidate will draft legal documents and correspondence, prepare advice to clients, and develop opinion and pleading writing skills.
  • They will also prepare court documents for litigated matters and attend directions hearings with early exposure to advocacy.
  • In addition, the successful applicant will assist with preparing matters for trial and liaise with clients.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed law degree and either currently completing or about to start postgraduate studies and PLT, or be an admitted lawyer.
  • Motivation and enthusiasm for a career in law, as well as strong academic results and the ability to apply critical thinking skills.
  • Practical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and a capacity to work efficiently and multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as well as meet deadlines and maintain electronic records.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
