Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Marketing Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the marketing industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and be able to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients.

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate product information across digital platforms, managing trade events and monitoring engagement metrics, coordinating sample orders and supporting product stage and gate projects, managing purchase orders, vendor creation, and invoices, tracking marketing expenditure, coordinating marketing updates across the team, contributing to idea generation sessions, developing digital engagement programs, supporting webinars and customer communications, collaborating with design agencies and sales teams to manage brochures, trade shows, and sales tools, and supporting sustainability initiatives, community programs, and activities aligned with the Reconciliation Action Plan.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Recent marketing graduate or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Canva
  • Attention to detail and high work standards
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit
  • Optimistic, enthusiastic, and adaptable
  • Exposure to digital marketing such as social media, email campaigns, or website management highly desirable
  • Full and ongoing working rights in Australia
