About the RoleThe Senior Occupational Health Specialist will be responsible for conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification for Homes Victoria assets. This role involves ensuring the safety, liveability, and sustainability of assets and tenancies while focusing on health, safety, and wellbeing, RTA compliance, incident management, and contractor management.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct asset and contractor safety audits to identify hazards and risks
- Develop and update safety procedures and plans to mitigate risks
- Provide advice, support, and training on safety procedures
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
