Job Title: VM Creative Specialist

About the Role:

The VM Creative Specialist provides strategic support to the Head of Visual Merchandising in developing and executing monthly guidelines that bring the brand's vision to life in-store.

  • Designs all creative elements for windows, in-store activations, and key retail moments, including props, installations, and fixtures.
  • Defines technical specifications, such as materials, dimensions, and colors, for all design elements, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Creates floor layouts and styling guidelines for new collections and product refreshes.
  • Provides feedback on department-specific fixtures and produces comprehensive guidebooks to ensure seamless execution by store teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports the VM Head/Manager in developing, writing, and administering monthly visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Leverages the VM strategy and marketing brief to design creative elements, including props, installations, and fixtures for key retail moments.
  • Designs all creative for windows and in-store activations.
  • Defines technical specifications (materials, dimensions, colors) for all props and fixtures.
  • Create detailed guidebooks for store teams to implement new collections, campaigns, and refreshes.
Essential Capabilities:
  • Degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or a similar creative role within a retail environment.
  • Proven experience designing and executing in-store displays, window displays, and product presentations.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation for the brand's aesthetic and target customer.
  • Ability to define technical specifications and communicate them effectively to vendors and contractors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
