
Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting repairs and preventative maintenance of ground support equipment and airport bus transport fleet. You will work predominantly airside, utilizing your technical skills on a variety of vehicles and machinery.
This role requires the ability to conduct repairs and maintenance efficiently, run diagnostics on difficult problems, and make effective plans for required repairs.
You will also be expected to collaborate with the team on responding to breakdowns and effectively managing your time.
The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in mechanics, light vehicle or heavy diesel mechanic, and hold a current valid driver's license.
Additionally, the candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the mechanical trade across light/heavy engine maintenance, and desirable exposure to GSE.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct repairs and maintenance of fleet and GSE equipment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide the most efficient outcome.
- Run diagnostics on difficult problems and make effective plans on required repairs.
- Collaborate with the team on responding to breakdowns and effectively managing your time.
- Work on specialized GSE equipment, gaining great exposure to the aviation industry.
- Maintain a safety-first approach when working at the workplace.
- Trade Qualification in Mechanics
- Light Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Desirable: Exposure to GSE
- Hold a Current Valid Driver's License
- 5+ Years in the Mechanical Trade Across Light/Heavy Engine Maintenance
- Desirable: Exposure to Diesel Engines, Hydraulic Systems, and Breakdown Maintenance
- Able to Work Autonomously, Problem-Solve Independently, and Be a Team Player
- Strong Organizational Skills and Proactive Problem-Solving Ability
