About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Integration Engineer to join our team at EnergyAustralia. As a key member of our Integration team, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and operating our applications on the AWS cloud platform.

You will work collaboratively with our Development teams to provide technical guidance and expertise in building and maintaining integration solutions across our AWS cloud services. This includes developing tools for deployment and monitoring across different environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing integration solutions using API frameworks
  • Developing solutions to meet the intended solution architecture for Integration
  • Driving a test-driven and quality-led culture by building systems that prove their correctness using TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and automation tools
  • Working closely with UX and BA resources to ensure outcomes are met when developing solutions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or formal training through a focused, reputable provider
  • Development skills in one or more of the following: Typescript, Python, Terraform, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, and Backend frameworks such as Nest JS
  • Experience building solutions that are cloud-based, highly available, and performant
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and/or Dev Ops concepts including CI/CD
