Providing Support in the Tumut Area
We are seeking an experienced support worker to provide care and assistance to a male client residing in the Tumut area.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will possess skills and experience working with clients requiring similar levels of care, including assisting with transfers using a hoist and providing support with daily living activities, such as cooking and cleaning.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with transfers using a hoist (requiring two workers)
- Provide support with daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, and maintenance around the house
Flexibility is key for this position, with shifts available from morning to evening, 7 days a week. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.
Required Skills and QualificationsA disability qualification, such as a Certificate 3 or 4, is highly regarded. A personal vehicle and driver's license are also essential for this role.
