We are seeking a talented professional with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to water metering, as well as experience managing complex projects and delivering on targets.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical initiatives, conducting metrological testing, and collaborating with external partners to deliver project outcomes.
- Develop new processes and systems to maximize the value from meters and the data they generate.
- Lead the development of Sydney Water's metrology program for compliance and performance.
- Collaborate with other areas of Sydney Water's business and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of a comprehensive metrology strategy aligned with industry best practices.
- Lead the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of water metering systems.
- Devise and implement systems and processes to maximise the value potential of the metering fleet.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in water metering technology and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, mechatronics, electronics, ICT, project management, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience managing complex projects and delivering on targets.
- Hands-on experience with water metering systems and technologies.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to water metering.
