We are seeking a Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our client, a major Oil & Gas energy operator, for a 12-month contract. This role has significant impact on operations and requires an individual with knowledge of both OT technologies and best practices.

**Network Infrastructure Specialist**

This role will work closely with instrumentation, control and electrical system engineers, process control engineers, maintenance specialists and operators to troubleshoot, maintain and support existing control systems. The specialist will also execute designs and roadmaps developed by Cloud Architects and support them in solution definition, development, build, and test of major/minor infrastructure features and functionalities.

The position will work closely with key operational support teams focusing on operational and reliability requirements to ensure safe and optimal running of the industrial control networks, infrastructure and software.

Key qualifications include:

  • A minimum 6-8 years of experience in OT (Operational Technology) infrastructure in an OT environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or related discipline preferred; however actual hands-on OT industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Extensive support and troubleshooting of Network switching infrastructure (VLANs/VRF), Firewalls, VMware HA/DRS/FT and SAN technologies
  • Advanced support and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, including the management and implementation of Group Policy Objects
  • Experience with maintaining cyber security, information Protection and compliance on process control Systems
