Site Operations Specialist

The Ground Crew plays a vital role in supporting heavy machinery operations and ensuring the smooth execution of site activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist Heavy Machinery Operators with daily tasks, including excavation, grading, and haul road maintenance.
- Conduct general labouring duties.
- Perform pre-start checks on equipment and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a hazard-free work environment.
- Assist with traffic management and site coordination as needed.
- Occasionally operate machinery (if certified) to cover operator roles when required.
- Support survey and construction teams with marking and measuring tasks.
- Maintain clean and organised worksites, ensuring compliance with environmental and site regulations.
- RII machinery tickets are highly regarded.
- Previous experience in mining, civil construction, or heavy labouring roles is preferred.
- Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments is essential.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are necessary.
- Candidates must be able to obtain a coal board medical certificate.
- A valid driver's license is also required.
- Flexibility to work FIFO on a 2/1 roster is mandatory.
