Meaningful Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Team Member. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

This role involves providing person-centred support that respects and uplifts clients. You will assist clients with shopping, social outings, and household chores to promote their independence. You will also provide companionship and engage with clients through conversations to build meaningful connections.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and making a positive impact. You will have excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a willingness to support clients in various ways.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A passion for supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Adaptability and willingness to support clients in various ways
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Availability to travel across the Logan and/or Brisbane region
