About Us: nrmjoEnvironmental jobs, NRM delivers high-quality environmental services to various clients across Victoria and is in search of candidates who fulfill the following selection criteria.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Proven interest and ability in natural resource management, conservation, and sustainability.
  • Capability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to operate in diverse weather conditions.
  • Possession of an Agricultural Chemical Users Permit (ACUP).
  • First Aid Certification - Level 2.
  • Familiarity with indigenous plant species.
  • A strong work ethic and self-motivation.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education in Environmental Science, Conservation and Land Management, Natural Resource Management, or relevant experience.
  • Experience with herbicide application.
  • Background in managing pest species, such as rabbit control.
  • Experience in controlling invasive species.
  • A valid Victorian manual driver's license.
  • Proficiency in operating tractors and small powered equipment, including slashing, mowing, and spraying.
  • MR driver's license.
  • Chainsaw operation skills.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate a high level of physical fitness for:

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Physically demanding tasks such as brush cutting, knapsack spraying, utilizing hand tools, and planting.
