Susquehanna does not post salary information online, but based on industry standards and location, we estimate an annual salary range of $120,000-$180,000 for this position.

Job Description

The general lifecycle of a quant project at Susquehanna involves researching ideas, immersing oneself in market data, leveraging tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming, and working side-by-side with technologists to backtest results and put trading signals into production.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Quantitative Researcher at Susquehanna, you will need:

  • Honours or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics
  • Exceptional mathematical problem-solving skills
  • Solid communication skills, both in understanding others and making yourself clearly understood
  • Strong, practical computing skills; proficiency in a specific language is less important than your ability to get computers to accomplish tasks efficiently and reliably
  • Experience working on in-depth research projects
