About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our B2B Commercial sales team at Equifax. As an Account Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing a high potential territory of Australian corporate customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a market coverage and penetration strategy to identify high value sales opportunities within your customers and across various sectors in the Victorian market.
  • Work closely with the sales manager, sales specialists, and wider product teams to substantially increase market awareness within your territory and drive revenue growth in your portfolio of clients.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful, trust-based relationships at all levels with customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely information and critical metric reporting as per agreed deadlines.
  • Deliver results to sales targets and ensure customers are kept updated of any significant changes in market dynamics and new solutions that could impact their business.
Requirements
  • Consistent high performance in account management and business development roles specifically in the B2B space.
  • Ability to demonstrate B2B account management/business development experience in a face-to-face environment.
  • Experience in developing a solid sales pipeline by acquiring new business and developing in-depth Account Management plans across a portfolio of customers.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize a territory successfully through strategic account reviews.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a consultative solution sales-based approach.
  • Consistent track record of delivering results to sales targets.
