We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Operations team, you will play a critical role in protecting Australia's financial system from evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify and mitigate potential threats before they materialise.
- Ensure readiness through regular tabletop exercises, playbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end threat hunting activity, incident response, and investigations.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Showcase proven experience in cybersecurity analysis.
- Possess knowledge of DevSecOps and Zero-trust methodologies.
- Highlight experience with intrusion and detection engineering, web application security, bug bounty programs, and cloud-based Microsoft Security Products.
- Cite SIEM, UEBA, DLP, and related experience as an advantage.
- Mention Australian Federal government experience or PSPF as advantageous.
- List practical certifications such as SOC-200, OSCP, HTB CTFS as beneficial.
- Emphasize tertiary qualifications in cyber, analysis, or engineering disciplines as an asset.
- State the ability to work with us requires being an Australian citizen with eligibility to gain an NV1 Security clearance.
