Job Opportunity

CatholicCare Tasmania is the primary social services agency across Tasmania, delivering a wide range of services and support for individual, family and community wellbeing over 60 years.

The Early Learning and Care Team are looking for motivated and energetic educators to join our Outside School Hours Care Program in Southern Tasmania.

We aim to provide the highest standard of learning and care through developmentally appropriate and stimulating programs.

The programs are culturally and socially inclusive, with family involvement in all aspects of activities vital to their functioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating a positive and enriching environment to engage school aged children in OHSC and vacation care.
  • Maintaining effective communication with parents and positive working relationships with all team members.
  • Using your skills to create an engaging program that supports the needs of children and families.

Requirements

  • A passion for the Early Childhood Industry.
  • Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
  • National Police Check.
  • Focus on Health & Safety requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret Policies and Procedures.
