The opportunity:

Become a vital part of our esteemed Newcastle facility, a prominent producer of corrugated cardboard packaging. We pride ourselves on delivering superior packaging solutions and are in search of committed individuals to enhance our day shift operations. As a Manufacturing Process Operator, you will gradually acquire knowledge of all facets of the carton production process. Your primary responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

Loading raw materials, such as sheets of corrugated board, into the machinery and stacking processed boards at the rear of the machine. Setting up and calibrating machinery and equipment. Ensuring the machinery operates efficiently. Diagnosing and addressing minor mechanical issues. Complying with safety protocols. Conducting quality inspections to uphold product standards.

Work hours: 38 hours per week. Monday to Friday: 6am to 2pm.

What you will bring to the team:

A trade certificate is advantageous. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a desire to learn and grow. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Mechanical skills and dexterity are also valued.
