Job Overview

Ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse and keying functions is crucial for meeting performance targets. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing daily receiving and dispatch operations, coordinating keying of customer orders, and leading the day-to-day running of the warehouse/manufacturing site.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize daily receiving and dispatch operations to ensure efficient stock management
  • Coordinate keying of customer orders to meet performance targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the warehouse/manufacturing site, including:
  • Loading, unloading, receiving, counting, and storing stock in a safe and organized manner
  • Packing and shipping orders to meet customer deadlines
  • Inspecting goods on arrival and before dispatch to ensure quality control
  • Maintaining and reporting accurate stock levels to inform business decisions
  • Operating forklifts for loading/unloading and general warehouse movements with precision and care
  • Investigating stock discrepancies and raising notifications as needed to prevent errors
  • Assisting with annual stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety requirements are met and adhering to processes and procedures
  • Taking an active role in continuous improvement initiatives to drive business growth
Requirements

Part A: Job Knowledge/Technical Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a warehousing/production environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity
  • Experience in lock cylinder keying with attention to detail and precision
  • Safe use of forklift experience with a commitment to workplace safety
  • Previous leadership experience (leading direct reports) with effective communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills for multitasking and coordinating priorities with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office with proficiency in data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive attitude
