The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently. This involves managing onsite equipment and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and driving business excellence through lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the Warehouse team operates effectively, keeping production running without disruption, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), and minimizing the impact of unexpected issues.
  2. Manage people, planning, and organization of deliverables while developing a high-performing team culture.
  3. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Logistics, and Digital Supply Chain teams to optimize supply chain performance.
  4. Implement, manage, and ensure compliance with all aspects of safety within the area of responsibility.
  5. Recruit and retain talent with a strong blend of technical capability, cultural fit, and alignment with ResMed's values.
  6. Coach and provide regular feedback to ensure team members grow, develop, and perform at their best.
  7. Build a team driven to deliver high-quality solutions, demonstrating ownership and accountability for the service provided.
  8. Implement Business Excellence initiatives through leading various lean initiatives across areas of responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A clear understanding of MRP/DRP systems and their application.
  • Strong warehouse supervision and management skills.
  • Ability to improve the focus of the warehouse team, ensuring high standards are reached and maintained in areas such as OH&S, Quality, Customer Service, and Inventory Integrity.
  • Good knowledge of quality management processes and their application.
  • Experience in the administration of a warehouse/distribution operation.
  • Preferred minimum 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
  • If you hold a current forklift license, this is a bonus.
