Fuse Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a dynamic maintenance team in the Food Manufacturing Industry. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with maintenance professionals to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and production machinery.

**Compensation:** The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $84.75 per hour, paid on a flat rate basis.

**Job Description:**

The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks on plant and equipment within the production facility. This will include:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the efficient operation of equipment
  • Documenting completed works and maintaining accurate records
  • Utilizing technical and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues

**Required Skills and Qualifications:*

  • Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • 3-5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Welding experience and knowledge of safe work practices
  • Forklift license and confined space license (advantageous)
  • Elevated work platform (EWP) certification over 11m
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
