The primary function of a Data Engineer is to provide comprehensive support for regulatory data processes in a hybrid work environment. This role involves collaborating with senior team members to achieve objectives, including participating in requirements gathering and other meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, deploy, test, and monitor data engineering solutions under minimal supervision.
- Read and write technical documentation, articles, and diagrams using industry-standard notation.
In this position, the ideal candidate will have a recent graduate degree in computer science or a related field and a GPA of 6.0 or better. Prior IT-related work experience or corporate office setting experience is not required.
Essential Qualifications- Broad knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, transformation methods, Kimball dimensional data model, ETL/ELT design patterns, and data warehousing concepts.
- Working knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud services.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL solutions.
Additionally, excellent note-taking skills and the ability to follow up are also essential.
