About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pier One Sydney Harbour Autograph Collection. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs in various areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance and repairs, to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed, including minor tasks such as tightening loose toilet seats and changing light bulbs.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of our facility's systems, including the boiler system, pumps, ventilation systems, and plumbing and water systems.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with our property's preventive maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
