Job Title: Patient Transport Officer

Buscojobs is seeking a skilled and compassionate patient transport officer to provide safe and efficient patient transport services 24/7.

The ideal candidate will have flexibility to work shift work, including mornings, nights, and weekends, and be willing to work between multiple locations on occasion.

We provide a comprehensive induction program and are committed to continuing professional development with the support of our registered training organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing clinical handovers for all transfers
  • Delivering high-quality patient care in a timely, safe, and efficient manner
  • Complying with clinical and operational policies and procedures as specified in patient transport regulations and protocols
  • Maintaining thorough working knowledge of applicable current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Safe driving of patient transport vehicles in accordance with respective road laws across Victoria

Minimum Requirements:

  • Successful completion of at least a certificate III in non-emergency patient transport or certificate IV in healthcare; or division 2 registered nurse, ambulance community officers
  • Current full driver's license and good driving record
  • Current national police check and working with children check
  • Ability to work professionally as part of a team with effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills
