Sushi Craftsperson

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled sushi craftsperson to join our team.

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our customer's expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook sushi ingredients according to recipes and presentation standards

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demand

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure food safety and quality

• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner

• Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives

• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in a sushi or Japanese restaurant preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in culinary arts an asset

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
