Clinical Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to take on operational and clinical management responsibilities, coordinating the activity of nursing staff and associated resources in a mixed medical/surgical ward with a women's health focus.

This is an opportunity for a skilled nursing professional to ensure high-quality patient-centered care by working closely with medical specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for minimizing clinical risk through following guidelines and policies, and developing a skilled workforce.

Main duties include:

  • Operational planning and service delivery
  • Clinical standards and patient safety
  • Human resource management
  • Financial and capital asset management

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong leadership experience with a key operational focus
  • AHPRA Registration (with no restrictions)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions during periods of high demand
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
