Job Title: Senior Management Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Downer Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial management support to our Health & Education line of business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the finance and accounting function, including internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly results, budgets, forecasts, performance analysis, working capital, and cash flow targets for the relevant Health & Education contract(s).
  • Collaborate with business functions to provide financial support and insights.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Finance/Management.
  • CA ANZ / CPA membership.
  • Significant experience working as a Financial or Management Accountant.
  • Working with budgets, profit and loss, and working capital.
  • Business Partnering / providing support to business functions.
