Overview

You will be part of a global team harnessing the power of scientific testing and data-driven insights to build a healthier future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine visitation and maintenance of remote environmental monitoring sites, consisting mainly of rivers, reservoirs, weather and sewer monitoring stations.
  • Administrative tasks such as purchasing, freighting and storeman duties.
  • Assist in the collection and verification of environmental data using specialist software packages and scientific instruments.
  • Assist in the upgrade of old, and installation of new environmental monitoring stations, including the use of a wide range of hand, power tools and computer applications.
  • Take accurate records including field notes, photographs and carry out spatial mapping.
Requirements
  • A proactive mindset, able to work both independently and co-operatively, self-starter.
  • Proficient in the use of hand, power, and pneumatic tools or willingness to learn.
  • Physically fit with an affinity for working outdoors in all weather – must be a competent swimmer.
  • Electronics / mechanical aptitude advantageous.
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Manual driver's license essential.

  • Pathway for Company sponsored Diploma of Water Operations for the right applicant.
