Job Description

As a Senior Sales Strategist, you will play a crucial role in procuring feedstock and building our customer base in Victoria. With your flexibility and agility to negotiate from strategic to day-to-day levels, you'll be key to success in this diverse sales role.

You will work closely with our sites to coordinate and manage the process with new vendors, communicate demand versus supply with operations, and implement robust plans to maintain quality of incoming feedstock. Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising and coordinating with site operations to ensure demand delivery
  • Identifying and cultivating market opportunities to develop, grow, and convert to a strong sales pipeline
  • Managing end-to-end processes including commercial discussions and sales proposal preparation
  • Providing monthly reports on procurement gains and pipeline activity
  • Developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong customer relationships to ensure solid supply lines of raw materials
  • Exceeding sales and margin budgets through effective sales and business development
Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for an individual with demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace and working 'toward zero harm.' You should have experience in plastic packaging sales and account management, along with strong financial acumen, financial performance to budget targets.

A strong strategic selling and customer solution focus, combined with high-level influencing and negotiation abilities, is essential for success in this role. Proven experience in technical sales and solution selling as a key account manager or business development manager is highly valued.
