About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist to join our client's marketing team in Geelong. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of approximately $90,000 per annum.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing significant digital marketing budgets across multiple channels, optimising allocation for maximum impact throughout the marketing funnel. You will be responsible for strategising, managing and optimising digital marketing efforts across multiple channels, including Meta, Google, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, display networks and more.

You will work closely with the Marketing Director to lead the creation, planning, testing and implementation of campaigns, setting KPIs and targets for each marketing channel. Your goal will be to maximise return on ad spend, increase website conversion rates and drive strong growth while ensuring customer acquisition at target costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications in Business or Commerce or similar, or equivalent experience;
  • Proven experience in marketing intelligence or a similar role, ideally from a digital-first retail business;
  • A subject matter expert on the use of tech, focussed on the Google marketing suite and Meta;
  • Proven skills and delivery of exploring new and up-and-coming platforms;
  • An analytical mindset with exceptional data manipulation and analytics skills;
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams to test and iterate new ad concepts.
