About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at West Recruitment Pty Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all finance and accounting operations, including billing, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and profit and loss integrity, as well as revenue recognition.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team to ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand, suggest, and support strategic planning and direction of group and individual business units.
  • Coordinate closing, forecasting, budgeting, capital expenditure, and cash flow control processes.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close process, and prepare a monthly Board report for review by the Chief Financial Officer.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in finance and accounting, preferably with a professional qualification such as CA/CPA. You should have experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a company with a turnover of less than $400 million. You should also have strong analytical and systems knowledge within a manufacturing or retail industry.
