Mechanical Operations Lead

Role Summary:

The M6 Stage 1 project requires an experienced Mechanical Operations Lead to oversee the mechanical installations of various tunnel scopes.

  • Lead site productivity by monitoring, directing and liaising with subcontractors to ensure program targets are met.
  • Ensure subcontractors have adequate supervision and resources to plan and complete work on time.
  • Conduct daily pre-start and weekly toolbox meetings to address site safety, quality and productivity issues.
  • Participate in scheduled site safety walks and address any items to rectify issues or improve site safety.
  • Collaborate with the Mechanical Superintendent to develop and monitor programs and forecasts.
  • Verify that the mechanical scope of work is completed in accordance with specifications, quality, safety, productivity and site standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Operations Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and coordinating the activities of the M&E team to achieve project objectives.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve site productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
