The City of Port Lincoln is seeking a visionary leader to drive the direction and delivery of services aligned with our Strategic and Annual Business Plans.

About the Role
  • Lead the planning and execution of strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
  • Oversee major projects, facilities upgrades, and civil infrastructure, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective asset and environmental management strategies, prioritizing sustainability and community needs.
  • Provide high-level advice and reporting on operational, compliance, and strategic matters, driving innovation and performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with elected members, community stakeholders, and government partners, promoting open communication and cooperation.

The successful candidate will lead an exceptional team of experienced managers and oversee portfolios including major projects, civil services, environmental and coastal management, regulatory services, planning, asset and water resource management, public realm, development, and community safety.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Management, Engineering, Finance, Environmental Management or a related field.
  • Extensive leadership experience in infrastructure, civil, environmental, and/or local government portfolios.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, deliver complex capital works, and achieve service outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a modern leadership style and proactive approach.
  • Strong ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to community service.
