Position Overview

As an Employment Coach, you will play a pivotal role in assisting individuals with disabilities in reaching their personal employment aspirations in alignment with their NDIS plans. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Endeavour Foundation employees to support them in their daily work activities and tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for Endeavour Foundation as a preferred employer, showcasing the range of services available to individuals with disabilities.
  • Establish and maintain robust professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to foster effective collaborative partnerships.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement to assist supported employees in achieving their NDIS employment objectives.
  • Work alongside site managers to facilitate referral, attraction, recruitment, and selection processes for Supported Employees, ensuring optimal commercial operations.
  • Assist in gathering information for all internal and external reporting, ensuring compliance with obligations and completion of audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with site management to evaluate procedures and processes, ensuring efficiency and ongoing enhancement of service delivery.
  • Support Individual Support Planning and NDIS funding reviews, including the creation of person-centered support activities relevant to the workplace.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in working with individuals with disabilities in an employment context or providing direct support.
  • Proven ability to operate within a person-centered framework and uphold the principles of social justice.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in the workplace, capable of shifting focus between priorities.
  • A sincere commitment to the organization's purpose and values, demonstrating adaptability to changing environments.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in current MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in training, coaching, and developing individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) and prior case management experience will be advantageous.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • NDIS clearance
  • National Police Check clearance
  • Mental Health First Aid certification will be considered a plus.
