Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of a rewarding career in healthcare.

  • You will perform preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service, and installations for medical equipment at various sites, including public/private hospitals and private clinics.
  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
  • Additionally, you will maintain and expand your knowledge through continuous training, including self-learning, computer-based courses, mentorship, and hands-on experience.

About You:

  • The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university trained, preferably with a restricted electrical licence, or able to obtain one.
  • They will pride themselves on customer satisfaction and outcomes and be available to work overtime, shiftwork (between 7am-7pm), and weekends when required.
  • The candidate will also be able to travel across state, interstate, and overseas and provide evidence of their permanent work rights in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
  • Performing preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service, and installations for medical equipment.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
  • Maintaining and expanding knowledge through continuous training and development.
Requirements
  • Trade qualification or university training in electrical, mechanical, electronics, avionics, biomedical, or similar fields.
  • Restricted electrical licence or ability to obtain one.
  • Able to work overtime, shiftwork, and weekends as required.
  • Available to travel across state, interstate, and overseas.
  • Permanent work rights in Australia.
