High Voltage Specialist

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a reputable company with a presence in Queensland and Western Australia. We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Mackay.

This role involves working on site and offers an opportunity for career advancement and relocation. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Diagnostic experience, including the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Heavy and medium truck & trailer repair experience, with a strong understanding of high voltage systems.
• A high level of technical ability & knowledge, including proficiency in aircon system installation and troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
• Strong fault finding skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and providing excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing new vehicle wiring systems, immobilizer and alarm systems, and gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical system. They will also be responsible for diagnosing electrical issues, proposing a course of action, and providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs.
